Trail standards

Santa Clara County has established standards for trail construction. These would apply to the trails discussed in this proposal.

Where paved service roads exist, this is the standard trail. The Dish trails should be built out to this standard.

Where no paved road exists, this is the standard trail.

Single-track trails should be used only when space constraints prohibit a double-track trail. Generally this occurs only on trails cut out of hillsides.
